Governor Andrew Cuomo met with New York’s congressional delegation on Monday, Nov. 26, to evaluate super storm Sandy’s financial damage. Previous lower estimates of damage have been revised and it is now believed that Sandy’s damage will cost New York at least $42 billion. Another firm which forecasts damage believes damages will top $50 billion. The largest part of the cost will cover repair and restoration of homes and businesses.
